I nostri slogan hanno attirato molti lavoratori immigrati arabi, cosicché la manifestazione di solidarietà aveva un nucleo di 300-400 persone, mentre ai nostri slogan facevano eco migliaia di persone in piazza. Il discorso del sindaco per il Capodanno 2009 è stato molto disturbato e lui was obviously angry, so she had to declare his hypocritical "support" to the people of Gaza. Bisogna trarre due conclusioni di rilevanza umana e politica.
Primo, gli assassini non le hanno solo gettato in faccia l'acido solforico l'hanno costretta con la forza ad inghiottirlo; le ustioni alla faccia e agli occhi sono state un "danno collaterale" mentre, probabilmente, lottava con i suoi aggressori (che devono essere stati in piú d'uno per fare una cosa tanto orribile). Gli assassini hanno agito per ucciderla, non solo intimorirla. Per uccidere lei e terrorizzare il suo sindacato e tutto il movimento sindacale di classe. Il metodo, molto inconsueto in Grecia, ha tutte le caratteristiche dei sicari mafiosi. Ma solo adesso la polizia, dieci giorni dopo il crimine, ha iniziato qualche interrogatorio sull'ipotesi principale che sia stata aggredita da... un amante! Al ritorno dalla manifestazione, alle 19:30 (ora locale) abbiamo saputo che era cominciata l'invasione di Gaza da terra da parte della fanteria e dei carri armati sionisti, da lungo attesa. Abbiamo già discusso e deciso nuove azioni di solidarietà. La prima è una dimostrazione domani pomeriggio.
GIÚ LE MANI DA GAZA! Le truppe sioniste fuori da Gaza, ORA! Libertà per la Palestina!
